Kemerovo State University (KemSU), located in the city of Kemerovo, Russia, was founded in 1973 and is one of the leading classical universities in Siberia. Unlike its counterpart (Kemerovo State Medical University), this university is a comprehensive public university, offering a broad range of programs including medicine, natural sciences, engineering, humanities, law, and education.
KemSU is recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and is known for fostering innovation and applied research. It maintains partnerships with several universities across Europe and Asia, allowing for student exchange programs and international academic exposure. The university’s medical faculty is steadily gaining attention from international students, including those from India.
The campus has modern facilities, including a research hospital, laboratories, lecture halls, and libraries. While the general MBBS program is more commonly offered at Kemerovo State Medical University, KemSU also provides health sciences programs under its Institute of Medicine.
