
Astana Medical University, located in the capital city Nur-Sultan (formerly Astana), Kazakhstan, was established in 1964 and has since grown into one of the country’s most respected medical institutions. Initially founded as Tselinograd State Medical Institute, it became a university in 2009. The university is accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, the World Health Organization (WHO), the National Medical Commission (India), and other international medical bodies.
The university offers a 6-year MBBS program (5 years academic + 1 year clinical internship) taught in English, making it ideal for international students. - Must be 17 years or older by 31 December of the admission year
- Completion of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
- Minimum 50% marks in PCB (40–45% for reserved categories)
- NEET qualification is mandatory for Indian applicants
- Required documents: Passport, 10th and 12th mark sheets, NEET scorecard, medical fitness certificate (including HIV test), passport-sized photos
