Avicenna International Medical University (AIMU) is located in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and is one of the fastest-growing private medical institutions in Central Asia. It was established with the aim of offering affordable and globally recognized MBBS education to international students, especially from India, Nepal, and other Asian countries.
The university offers a 6-year MBBS program in English, comprising 5 years of academic studies and 1 year of internship. AIMU is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India, World Health Organization (WHO), and listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools. The curriculum is designed as per international standards, ensuring strong theoretical knowledge and practical clinical exposure.

- Applicant must be at least 17 years old by 31st December of the admission year
- Completion of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
- Minimum 50% marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
- NEET qualification is mandatory for Indian students
- Required documents: Valid passport, 10th & 12th mark sheets, NEET scorecard, medical certificate (including HIV), passport-size photos
