Tbilisi Medical Academy, officially named Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy, was founded in 1992 by Dr. Petre Shotadze and renamed in his honor in 1999. It is one of Georgia’s first private medical schools, offering a six-year MD program in English and Georgian. The academy emphasizes innovative teaching methods, such as case-based learning, team-based learning, virtual reality, and OSCE simulation training.
The institution features a main academic campus with modern classrooms, simulation labs, an anatomy center (Anatomage), and a medical skills center.
