
St. Tereza Medical University (also known as St. Theresa’s Medical University) is a private medical institution in Yerevan, Armenia, founded in 1992. It was established by Larisa Hambartsumyan and is named in honor of Saint Theresa. It stands out as one of Armenia’s leading private medical schools offering modern medical education.
The university offers a 6-year MBBS (General Medicine) program, fully taught in English, including a mandatory 1-year clinical internship in affiliated hospitals such as “Heratsi” N1 and “Muratsan.” It has over 7,000 students, around 1,200–2,000 international students, with a significant Indian presence. The campus includes modern facilities like labs, simulation centers, lecture halls, and a library.
St. Tereza University is recognized by global bodies like WHO, NMC (India), UNESCO, and ECFMG, and appears in the World Directory of Medical Schools. - Must be 17–24 years old by 31 December of the admission year.
- Completion of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, scoring at least 50% (45% for reserved categories) in PCB.
