
The University of Traditional Medicine of Armenia (UTM) was established in 1991 with a mission to integrate traditional medical practices with modern scientific methods. It trains physicians skilled in both empirical and evidence-based approaches and adapts its curriculum to align with European medical education standards. UTM offers a six‑year MBBS (General Medicine) program taught in English, which includes a final-year clinical internship in affiliated Armenian hospitals. Its facilities include a faculty clinic, specialized laboratories (e.g. stomatology), and a digital/electronic library with over 6,000 printed works. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for licensing exams such as NEET (FMGE) for India and comparable global exams.
The university is internationally active, partnering with institutions in Jordan, Germany, the USA, the UK, India, and others. It hosts foreign students from various countries and participates in international medical expos and student activities.
- Must be 17 years or older by 31 December of the admission year
- Completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, scoring at least 50% aggregate in PCB
- NEET qualification is required for Indian students
